Yes. In our quality assurance process during manufacturing, we spot check and randomly pull out wallets to inspect the physical quality, as well as to check and verify the cryptographic integrity of the encrypted private key and the decryption wallet passphrase, to ensure that the QR code and deposit address is correct, functional, and able to be decrypted.
On your Ballet wallet, you can see three matching serial numbers. This is to ensure that the QR code public address, the encrypted private key, and the decryption wallet passphrase are all paired together correctly. During the QA process, we will physically open the wallet components to extract the decryption wallet passphrase and the encrypted private key, and test the electronic decryption, to ensure that the funds deposited to the public address can indeed be transferred out using the blockchain. Once that wallet has been physically opened to reveal the private key and passphrase, then that physical wallet has been tampered with, and thus can no longer be sold.
